About Capra's Sporting Goods

In 1980 Ted Capra started Capra's Marine Electronics, a company that sold and repaired depth finders and trolling motors. In 1987 Ted Capra opened the doors to Capra's Sporting Goods. With the help of his wife Nancy and their two sons, Dean and Tony, Capra's Sporting Goods has become the Midwest's most unique complete full service sporting goods store.The Capra's have traveled the nation fishing countless touraments and their travels have expanded the products available in the store.  If it is new, if it's hot, Capra's will have it!

In 1990, the Capra's started their own television series Capra's Outdoor Frontiers. A weekly series that airs across the nation on dish network and on cable stations in the upper midwest. From destinations around the globe, Ted, Tony and Dean take you on adventures to the most exciting fishing and hunting expeditions ever seen,with apearances from top tournament anglers such as Roland Martin, Kevin VanDam, Rick Clunn,Byron (TheBachelor) Velvick and Country music stars such as Tracy Byrd, John Anderson, and Brad Paisley. For over thirty years, the Capra's have been on the leading edge of the outdoor industry and will continue to lead in to the digital age.
